A 93Y/O female; Asthmatic bronchitis under long-term ventilator support. Crusted lesions over her Rt foot and several papules over the flank and both forearms. R/O scabies. Please help us in confirming the diangosis. Thanks!

-- 許明隆 醫師【 回覆 】-- Thank you for your good photos. Scabies should be very highly considered. But still the typical burrows of scabies are not seen in your photos. I attached 2 photos which contains typical burrows for your reference. Maybe you may find some in her skin not shown in your photos. The typical burrow is about 0.5 cm long, linear shaped and usually curved scaly or crusted.
